Ten of our Sunday morning cycling group, as pictured above, are heading overseas soon and will be meeting in Carcassonne, in France, on the 5th June 2012.
After exploring Carcassonne and surrounds we will be heading for Port Cassafieres on Friday 8th June where we pick up Le Boat, a Grand Classique. http://www.leboat.com.au/flotte/gcl and cruise up and down the Canal Du Midi for 10 days, stopping off and cycling to enjoy the sights along the way.

Well, this is going to be exciting for all of you bikies!! Make sure you get all your knee replacements, heart bypasses and mental health check-ups out the way before you go. Can't wait to see all the photos from southern France!!! Very jealous!!
ReplyDeleteColour me GREEN!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to all the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWe have a week on the Camargue in September with friends, and your trip sounds great fun.
ReplyDeleteWe also have friends who have done a similar trip to yours. One warning from them. The canal water is not at all healthy ( the loo on many boats gos straight overboard ) so gloves for handling all ropes and lines, and plenty of hand washing, and alcoholi hand sanitizer is highly recommended.
Enjoy!
