Looking forward to 10 days of cycling, wine and the company of great friends. See you all in Carcassonne at the start of a memorable journey.

Just logged in with my French translated user name  (aka Christine Young).  I think it sounds appropriate for the holiday - not that I can speak a word of French - unless it is to tell someone that I am hungry or that "the garden is pretty".  All very useful stuff!   Au revoir. Jusqu'a demain.

Ten of our Sunday morning cycling group, as pictured above, are heading overseas soon and will be meeting in Carcassonne, in France, on the 5th June 2012.

After exploring Carcassonne and surrounds we will be heading for Port Cassafieres on Friday 8th June where we pick up Le Boat, a Grand Classique. http://www.leboat.com.au/flotte/gcl and cruise up and down the Canal Du Midi for 10 days, stopping off and cycling to enjoy the sights along the way.
